Heads Down, Hearts Open. You've got your blueprint, you've got your look, and now it's time to put your all into this project.
This is a multi-week sprint leading toward your midterm. While it is super easy to go "heads down" and hide in your own little world -- especially with a project this personal -- I am encouraging you to stay connected.
Post your WIPs (Works In Progress) in the Discord frequently. Why?
Motion design is hard. If you are stuck on a technical hurdle or a weird expression error, don't waste hours frustrated.
Post it in Discord! It is the fastest place to troubleshoot. Someone else has likely already solved the exact problem you are facing.
If you can't figure it out in 15 minutes, it's time to ask for help. Don't waste hours frustrated when a quick Discord message can unblock you.
Remember, if it's not Wednesday, I am not physically at the school. But that doesn't mean I'm gone. I'm usually at home on my workstation, which means Discord is open right in front of me.
"If you are stuck and banging your head against the keyboard... please message me. Troubleshooting motion design problems is a nice break from my daily grind!"
Post WIP renders to Discord. Submit your current project state at the end of Week 5 for a progress check.
